Prototype demos produced by Evercast Research Lab. Each demo targets a specific area of streaming infrastructure, content security, or computer vision research. Source code and documentation available on request.
Real-time Image Based Lighting in the browser using HDR environment maps. Demonstrates physically-based shading driven by dynamic or pre-captured lighting data, rendered via WebGL.
Applies Digital Rights Management encryption to any live or on-demand video source on the fly. Supports multiple DRM schemes and integrates into existing pipelines without re-encoding the source.
Browser-based security system using real-time image classification via MediaPipe to detect unauthorized recording devices. Frames are processed locally — no data leaves the browser.
Browser-based network diagnostic tool for Evercast environments. Verifies WebRTC, UDP, audio/video streaming, data channels, and TLS — then reports ping, jitter, upload/download throughput, and supported video codecs.
Ingests a stream from OBS via WHIP, repackages it as Low-Latency HLS through MediaMTX, and plays back in any browser. Exposes live HLS.js sync parameters — latency, buffer length, playback rate — for real-time tuning.
